In 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, I was laid off from a company I loved. I loved the people, what we were building, and the belief that our work was making a difference.

I remember the pit in my stomach, the uncertainty, and the self-doubt. What did I do wrong? What happens next? If you've experienced a layoff, you may know those feelings all too well.

I'd spent decades in corporate recruiting and HR, building recruitment strategies, hiring and leading teams, and working alongside more than 500 managers and executive leaders. I'd seen firsthand what happens behind the scenes when hiring decisions are made.

And I realized something important. Connecting you with the right opportunity will change your life.

That realization inspired me to create Align2Success. I wanted to bring my knowledge of the employer side of hiring to professionals navigating their own career transitions.
